This summer we're setting up our pop-up stall again in the Botanical Garden in Akureyri. The LYST Summer Festival runs 17–19 July, but our stall will be there on Saturday the 18th, 13:00–18:00. It's our second year at the festival, and honestly we're back for one reason: we were made so welcome last year that we don't want to let down our food lovers up north.
On our tables you'll find a selection of what people buy most from us in Reykjavík: olive oil from Kalios, sardines and soups from La Belle-Iloise, jams from Belberry, lovely chocolate from Cluizel and Bonnat, and spices from Terre Exotique, to name a few. All of it good to taste and easy to carry home. We can't promise to bring everything; the whole shop won't fit in the car. But we try to bring what travels well and suits these blooming surroundings.
More than anything, it's a chance to meet. Taste things, ask where they come from, tell us what you think. See you on Saturday!
After something specific?
There are two ways, and both end the same: we bring it north and hand it to you at the festival. No shipping cost.
The easy way. Write to us at hyalin@hyalin.is and tell us what you'd like. We'll bring it north with us.
Or order online:
- Order at hyalin.is.
- Choose "Sækja" (pickup) at checkout, rather than shipping.
- Email hyalin@hyalin.is with your order number and ask us to bring it to Akureyri for the festival.
- We'll bring it north and hand it over on the day.
One small thing: we need to pack before we set off, so please order by Wednesday 15 July at the latest.
